What is conversational hypnosis?

This is one of many covert hypnosis techniques. Have you ever heard from a car dealer such statement "Please do not think that this car people buy in order to gain prestige and show their higher social status, this car is just really good ...", or similar? If so it means that you are dealing with a professional in the field of sales. It focuses your mind on the fact that "this car is really good," and almost imperceptibly forward to your subconscious suggestion - you are starting to need this car. He presented you an opportunity to reach financial top and become better person with THIS car. Who does not want to be perceived in this way? So socially independent people are few, though of course most think they are. I suspect that you too.

Where conversational hypnosis starts?

In an psychoterapeutic world this term was popularizedby a hypnosis genius Milton H. Erickson. Although he died in 1980, legends about him are alive even today. According to his followers and disciples Erickson was able to hypnotize anyone. Hypnotize anyone in a completely invisible way! (Just imagine in how many ways you could use this). The work of this brilliant psychiatrist and hypnotherapist was one of the pillars of creation of neuro-linguistic programming, natural or covert hypnosis in the world of communication, negotiation, sales, advertising and everyday contacts.
Erickson's hypnotic language patterns were transferred into the world of business, politics and management. One definition of hypnosis states that hypnosis involves a transfer of the suggestions directly to the subconscious mind without touching rational mind. In this situation, the conscious mind is not able to defend himself. The saying "knowledge is power" fits there perfect. Advertising and sales professionals use covert methods of hypnosis and manipulation without any moral ethics.Every time when it comes to money ethical behavior recedes into the background. 
On the other hand, conversational hypnosis techniques can serve people in the most ethical and noble purposes! Even Erickson was carrying medical relief to hundreds of patients, often condemned by other doctors.

I personally think that everyone should know the techniques of covert hypnosis in order to be able to defend themselves against unethical manipulation present in the media, advertising, at work, in the sales process, and in everyday life. Of course what you do with this technique is up to you. You can try to manipulate other people as well. With this power a lot of people have found their first patners, self confidence or great job. The choice is yours!
